Step 4: Farming and Rewards

Once you have created liquidity, do not forget that to earn any rewards or yield, you need to stake the liquidity into the farms.

Head to the farm menu by clicking on the "Farm" dropdown, then click on "Farm Menu".

Once you are on the Farm menu and can see the farms for all our rewarded pairs, we can select the specific pair we are looking to stake (in the case of our example, it is WETH/MTRX).

Once you click on the farm, a liquidity managing menu will pop-up. Do not be confused! To stake, simply select the staking tab on the menu to go to the staking menu. Once you are there, you can select the amount of liquidity receipts you want to stake and approve the liquidity receipt amounts for staking. (Another approval transaction to complete in your crypto wallet.)

After you have approved the liquidity receipt amounts to stake, you can confirm your deposit and proceed to complete the transaction in your crypto wallet.

Once you submit the transaction, another pop-up will appear with the state of your transaction. The loading circle will turn into a green checkmark once your staking transaction has been completed. (You will also be able to see a completed transaction pup-up at the top right of the website page like with all other transactions on our DEX.)

Rewards

On the same menu you can manage liquidity and stake liquidity, you can view your staked liquidity, its dollar value and the amount in each token it is equivalent to along with your accrued rewards by selecting the Rewards tab on the pop-up menu.

Rewards are distributed every block and through this Rewards menu, you can claim your farming rewards.

Unstaking liquidity

In the staking menu for the farm, you can toggle the slider to the right of "Stake Liquidity" to shift the menu into the "Unstake Liquidity" menu. Through this menu, you can unstake any amount of your liquidity receipts from the farms which will also claim all farm rewards you have received in the meantime.
